HTML email creation just got a lot easier

The guys over at Campaign Monitor have just released a new feature that automatically converts your beautiful CSS into the inline style format required for cross email client consistency.

Unfortunately it’s currently impossible to get HTML emails built using web standards and working consistently across multiple email clients. This means web developers have to resort to methods of old involving table based layouts and inline styles.

Campaign Monitor are leading the web industry in a movement to encourage web standards in email clients with their Email Standards Project that I’ve blogged about before.

So far Yahoo! Mail are the only ones to make significant improvements to their support for web standards based HTML email.
